The city of Cagliari is situated in the south of Sardinia and can be reached by sea and by air.
THE ROUTE
If you arrive at the airport of
Cagliari/Elmas, you must follow the road signs for the S.S. (main road) 554 in
the direction of Quartu Sant'Elena, whereas, if you arrive at the port, you must
follow the road signs for Sassari until you find the road signs for the S.S. (main
road) 554, still in the direction of Quartu Sant'Elena.
At the cross roads of Quartucciu, turn towards Muravera on the S.S. (main road)
125 "Orientale Sarda". After having crossed the Sarrabus mountains, you will
reach the built up area of Muravera, and, from there, continue for Villaputzu.
After having passed Villaputzu, continue in the direction of Tertenia, which you
will reach after about 30 km (19 miles).
Having passed Tertenia, you drive through the Genna e Crescia Pass, where you
must turn right in the direction of Barisardo. Having passed the built up area
of Barisardo, continue onwards to Tortolì and Arbatax to arrive at your
destination
